DISCLAIMER: Please note that the services for applications under the Re:BUiLD Project are microenterprise and Urban Savings and Loans Association (USLA). However, it's important to note that the microenterprise component is not currently open for applications. 

Services Offered:

  • Business Grants (microenterprise)
  • Capacity building of Urban Savings and Loans Association (USLA)
  • Financial Inclusion, Linkages to financial institutions, financial literacy trainings

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Re-build project ensure inclusion of women in our programs like the target is 30:70, 70 being women, addressing issues of gender barriers to livelihood.   
  • Have valid Identification Documents (IDs):     
  • Kenya: Citizens must have National IDs. Refugees should possess Proof of Registration (POR) or refugee ID recognized by the Department of Refugee Services in Kenya (DRS)     
  • Age: Must be at between the ages of 18 - 45 years.      
  • Location: Nairobi (all Nairobi metropolitan area).  
  • Language: Ability to speak  Swahili, or English at conversational level.    

Accessibility:

  • This location has an elevator 
  • This location has female staff  
  • This location has separate bathrooms for men and women 
  • All services listed are free of charge 
  • Interpretation of Somali is consistently available at the premises 

Access days and time 

  • Working hours: Monday-Friday: 8am to 5pm 
  • Services are closed during public holidays 
  • No appointment is required.
