Services Offered:
- Legal advice and counselling including guidance to self -represent before Courts , the Refugee Affairs Secretariat and other legal avenues.
- Referral to lawyers
- Information about your rights
Eligibility Criteria:
- The eligibility criteria is dependent on vulnerability score which is determined by various attributions of clients such as residency status, Gender, income, Working days, House type, House arrangement, House Occupancy, Disability, Female head of household, Elderly head of household, Child Head of household.
- The client should be an urban refugee with proof of registration document and/or refugee ID
- An asylum seeker with approval to reside in the urban areas.
Accessibility:
- This service is available on call, SMS and WhatsApp Communication during working hours.
- Visits to the physical address are only in critical situations. However, the lawyers are available to visit/meet the client in their location.
- Any services provided are free of charge.
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM
- Services are closed during public holidays and weekends
- No appointment is required
