Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for these services one has to be:
<ul>
<li class="ewa-rteLine">Between 25-40 years as of the first day of the Fellowship</li>
<li class="ewa-rteLine">Citizen and resident of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia</li>
<li class="ewa-rteLine">Be eligible to receive a US J-1 Visa</li>
<li class="ewa-rteLine">Proficiency in spoken and written English</li>
<li class="ewa-rteLine">Minimum of two years of professional work experience</li>
<li class="ewa-rteLine">Ability to travel to the US for the 5-week program duration</li>

NAIROBI: Professional Fellows Program (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia)  - Humanity & Inclusion (HI)

Humanity &amp; Inclusion (HI) is an independent organization that works in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. HI works alongside disabled and vulnerable people to help meet their basic needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.&nbsp;
In Kenya, Humanity &amp; Inclusion (HI) works in refugee camps and surrounding host communities to improve the living conditions of refugees and persons with disabilities, by ensuring equal access to services, learning opportunities, civic engagement, raising awareness of discrimination and building the capacity of staff working with these populations to identify the most pressing needs. HI also provides protection, psychosocial services and physical rehabilitation services, including provision of assistive devices such as wheelchairs and crutches.&nbsp;
